About Nano Club

Berkeley Nanotechnology club was founded as an avenue to inform the public and UC Berkeley Students about advancements in the fascinating field of nanotechnology. Over the past 6 years the club has held more than 40 speaker series events, incorporating experts from around the campus, the bay area, and abroad.

Because of Berkeley Nano Club’s outreach basis, the club is sponsored by several campus departments and organizations. Similarly, many companies have recognized Berkeley Nano Club as an excellent way to reach out to college students, and have participated in both sponsorship and hosted events.

Nanoforum

On the 7th of April, 2013, we will host our tenth Nanoforum. This conference brings together professionals and students from various disciplines to assess and discuss the current state of nanotechnology. Leaders and experts from academia and industry alike will share their views on nanotechnology and its transformation to commercial products and services. This year, two topics will be emphasized- nanoenergy and nanobiology.
